Snow and Rain a dreary Week 2

Hello All!

Another week down the drain, only 50 more.  I am NOT going to count the days until Christmas if that's where you think I was going to go.  Lots of snow or rain.  I mean, lots of rain.   Tons of rain.  Dreary days.

1) PANTRY CHALLENGE/WEIGHT LOSS
Another week, and this week the scale said I lost 2 Pounds!!  Total since I started this blog:  3 pounds gone!
As for grocery shopping, I have not shopped since I last mentioned shopping on the previous blog.   Part of that is because this week I received my organic vegetables from Boston Organics so I have not needed anything.   I probably will be shopping later this week.

2) HPCKHC Crafting
a) Finished Objects  - I have two finished blanket squares this week - one was turned in to Ancient Runes and the other was for Quidditch.

b) WIP's:  I've got another block on the needles should be done during this week.    My OWL is progressing nicely.  I've managed to stay ahead and am well on track of reaching 50% by end of February, if not sooner.
c) Plots:  Arithmancy approved a non-rav craft(sewing), so I'll be getting out a regency style corset before the month end.   I need to do more measuring so I can draft the pattern to fit all the problem areas and then get the fabric cut out.

3) Other Crafting

a) FO's:  I do have one project finished.  A bag to hold my SCA feast gear.
b) WIP's:  Well, I do have a regency gown that has been stalled for a couple months now.   After I get the corset done, I'll get to work on finishing this gown.
c) Plots:  Not many plans, but I would like to try to reduce my stash in half by making clothes for me to wear to work or around the house.   Some of the more period pieces, I'm not going to worry about being "dated", I'm going to wear what makes me happy.   Considering most of these pieces will not be revealing in the ways one sees one scantily clad, they should not be a problem in a work setting.   Thinking about researching "Gibson Girl/Victorian" wear for office.

4) Ebay/Etsy
Again, I still have not put anything up for sale/listings yet.   But I have begun a project of organizing my fiber stash - which if works the way I feel it will, I'll get more pieces to store the inventory in.   I need to reorganize the craft room so I can have space to work without being surrounded by all the clutter that is currently strewn about in there.   And merging with:

5) All Else:
One of my bookkeeping clients has decided to go every other week instead of every week.   On one hand, that is a reduction of almost half my monthly income on bookkeeping.  On the other hand, it frees up time that I can devote to my Ebay/Etsy business.   I can spend that time dyeing, carding, creating new colorways, new photos, and then working on the eventual listings.

The tax season is approaching fast and furious.   My work schedule will be changing to make sure I don't go over on hours per week.  They do not pay overtime and keeping track of these hours to take off later is a PITA, so, I'll be adjusting my schedule accordingly - which worked well for me last. year.  This will be interesting to see as the season progresses.

That's all for now!

Have Fun!
